During work sessions in class when people are focused on modelling I show a train video. It’s been the now-classic NRK video of a train trip from Bergen to Oslo from 2009 (which has been updated with a season selector), and to be honest, I’m bored of it.
I recently chanced across an article in The Guardian about the joys of slowing down and watching long form train videos. It turns out, to find a near endless supply of videos on YouTube is to search for train cab videos.
The article also points to an excellent post on MetaFilter of long train videos. Including this one from Salzburg to Villach.
It looks like I’ll be set for “entertaining” classes for years to come!
