The Montreal Gazette is tired of not being to cover the Canadiens playing real hockey so they’ve begun running NHL 13 AI versus AI games on consoles and will reporting on them.
Beginning with Thursday’s scheduled season opener against the Ottawa Senators, we’ll play the video game and let you know what would have happened, complete with reaction from the Canadiens’ dressing room. Look for it Friday in The Gazette and at hockeyinsideout.com.
Recently in class, we talked about sports games and naturally the discussion went to defining what a sport is. Like, many things in culture, exactly what consistutes a sport is debatable; howeever, they all tend to agree on a sport revolving around some physical skill.
Some students argued that race car driving doesn’t qualify as a sport – I beg to differ. Just take a look at the what the driver does in this video form the 2010 Rally of the Tall Pines. If you change to the bumper cam and look really closely on a sharp right turn you’ll see me spectating.
